The Baaka Cultural Centre Wilcannia Aboriginal Corporation (Board) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) from local Barkindji artists for a commissioned artwork to feature in the Barkindji Keep Place Exhibition. 

 

Overview

This commission invites a Barkindji artist to create a significant, large-scale canvas artwork depicting the Ngatji Creation Story and its profound connection to Barkindji Country.

The artwork will form a central cultural feature, displayed on the plasterboard wall opposite the arched entry to the exhibition space.
