The Baaka Cultural Center is a Not for Profit corporation and is a registered Charity with Designated Gift Recipient (DGR) tax-deductible status. The Baaka Cultural Centre Wilcannia Aboriginal Corporation is a CATSI-registered organization (Corporation (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) Act of 2006).

Your support will help the Baaka Cultural Center deliver on its vision to empower Baakantji youth to see opportunity and a positive future, while providing a place for past, present and future artists to exhibit their works and culture, and carry on their heritage.

Your support is valuable. There are a variety of ways you can support Baaka Cultural Centre in a meaningful way:

A gift of $50, $75 or $100 helps us support our youth and centre

$1,000 supports materials for six young artists to generate artworks

$2,500 supports training for five youth to lead their own cultural activity tours, ranging from river walks to native plant tours and bush tucker walks

$5,000 supports an artist-in-residence for two months to seek inspiration and explore their heritage

$10,000 supports the Baaka Language Lab for six months, ensuring local dialects and intergenerational storytelling are kept alive to inspire future generations
